This is a brief story illustrating the example of overcoming and resilience of a horse that was literally at the bottom of a well.

Once upon a time, on an ordinary day, a farmer who owned valuable horses for work on his farm received worrying news.

His favorite horse, a strong and beautiful chestnut, had fallen into an abandoned well.

The foreman, who brought the bad news, was visibly distressed, as the well was too narrow and too deep to pull the animal out, despite the workers’ efforts.

The farmer went to the site and assessed the situation, agreeing with his foreman.

He considered that rescuing the horse was not worth it, as it would be a long and costly process, even though the animal was not injured.

He decided that the best alternative would be to bury the horse in the well and gave this order to the foreman.

As he walked away, concerned about his business, the workers promptly began to carry out the farmer’s order.

Under the foreman’s supervision, five men started throwing earth into the hole, covering the horse.

Overcoming and Resilience

With every shovelful of earth, the chestnut shook himself off, and the soil filled the empty well.

The men were surprised by the horse’s cleverness, resilience, and determination, as he used the dirt to climb higher.

It didn’t take long before the horse’s head appeared at the top of the well.

With a few more shovelfuls of earth, he finally jumped out, shaking himself and neighing, happy with his unexpected rescue.

Moral of the Story

Do not allow the dirt thrown by those who want to bury you alive to hold you back.

Respond with confidence and action, seeking your space and overcoming challenges.

Use that dirt as a foundation to climb ever higher, and thank those who, without realizing it, contribute to your material and spiritual growth.

When they believe you are defeated, your victory will be even more remarkable.

Have courage! Life involves risks.

Generally, the one who is willing to act and take risks is the one who achieves the greatest accomplishments.
